KIller Earbuds for people who don't like noise

The "around the back" headphones drive me insane because I can't sit comfortably on an airplane with those. The earbuds that come with the iPod are ok, but the drawback is they don't block out sound very well.
The obvious solution for me was a pair of sound isolating earbuds. I spoke with some friends and read some reviews and ended up buying a pair of the Shure e3 earbuds. They come with a bunch of silicone and foam pads so I was able to find the perfect fit for my small ear canals. They are a little on the expensive side, but when I'm in the gym, all I hear is my iPod. When I'm on an airplace, all I hear is my iPod. The sound is amazing too. Worth every penny, I think.
